Changes to the Payroll System for the September 2015 RG1 pay cycle:

• Graduate Student Payroll Deductions for Tuition:

  One eighth of the amount guaranteed for payroll deduction has been processed this paycycle for 1051 graduate students who authorized payroll deductions for their residual tuition. Deductions continue through the 01/11/16 payday. The online grad payroll deduction enrollment system will reopen in November for spring enrollment for those who have not yet enrolled for spring payroll deduction.

• Update Rate for Public School Employees Union Dues BU 16:

  The rate changes from1.55% to $1.65% of the gross monthly earnings for GTN 254 PSE union dues effective September 1, 2015. The monthly maximum for union dues and agency fees goes from $54.00 to $55.00.

• Department of Retirement Rate Changes:

  Per DRS Notice 15-018 the following rate changes have been made for earnings effective September 1:

  The employer contribution rate for TRS 1, 2 and 3 has increased from 10.39% to 13.13%.
