Changes to the Payroll System for the July 2014 RG1 pay cycle:

  • New Work Study Transfer Projects
    The projects for Work Study transfer accounts have changed for the new fiscal year.  They are:
    Federal Work Study (FWT) 7801 from 2014 to 2015
    State Work Study (SWT) 7802 from 2014 to 2015
  • WFSE Representation Fee
    Decrease the maximum monthly fee amount effective July 1, 2014 from $59.13 to $52.58. Also, the deduction rate goes from 1.16% to 1.03%. GTN 172 WFSE Rep.
  • State Share Changes
    The monthly employer-paid contribution rate for benefit-eligible employees is lowering to $662.00.
  • One-Time Payment
    167 WFSE covered classified staff will receive a 4% one-time payment per a Memorandum of Agreement between the Washington Federation of State Employees and WSU. The signed MOA and FAQs have been posted to the HRS-Labor Relations website at http://hrs.wsu.edu/LR%20Home. The information can be found by selecting Bargaining Units and Agreements and is listed under Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE).
